The short version

Cockpit is provided as-is, free, with no warranty. You are responsible for your own Cloudflare account, your own Mac setup, and your own compliance with streaming service terms. Don’t use Cockpit to break laws or misrepresent yourself.

Not affiliated

Cockpit is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc., Apple Inc., Netflix, Inc., The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. Discovery, Alphabet Inc., or any other service mentioned. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

What Cockpit does and does not do

• Cockpit is a web launcher. It opens URLs in your browser.
• It does not interact with vehicle systems, vehicle APIs, or any third-party account credentials
• The Mac remote desktop feature runs on your own infrastructure (your Cloudflare account, your Mac); Cockpit only ships static front-end code

Your responsibilities

• Comply with the terms of every service you open through Cockpit (Netflix, YouTube, etc.)
• Comply with Cloudflare’s terms when running your own tunnel
• Do not drive while watching video; use streaming features only in park
• Do not represent Cockpit as an official product of any third party
